This little card is from my heart
To say I love you so. If I could fly over land and sea
Right by your side
is where I'd be!
Come home soon!/I miss you! ( multi purpose!!) For Ever
The battle was nearing and time growing short
Separation was looming and she was so fraught.
The girl kissed the soldier as if in a trance
Then he took her hand gently and
asked her to dance.
The room faded away as they danced lightly round,
His arms held her tightly and her feet left the ground.
Then he whispered so softly "Please will you be mine?
I'll love you for ever my sweet Valentine!"
These words never left them all over the years.
Through hard times and good times, through laughter and tears.
How often for pleasure they'd walk hand in hand
Then he'd give her flowers, write her name in the sand.
Now life was mellowing and time growing short
Separation was looming and he was so fraught.
He kissed her and whispered, "You're no longer mine.
But I'll never stop loving my sweet Valentine!" You're the cream
in my coffee
and the icing on my cake,
You're those scrumptious chocolate buttons
In a fragrant cookie bake,
You're a sunny day with rainbows
You're a dewdrop on a leaf
You're my soul mate
and my lover
You're the topping
on my life. On facing married life and/or the Bank Manager!
"Maybe I could if I tried .."
why always me?
"Maybe we could if I tried .."
no again..
"Maybe I could if we tried."
getting better ..
"Maybe we could if we tried."
now that's talking sense!.
After all ..
we do have a joint account!! Best wishes
on becoming husband and wife.

the puzzle of life! On your Wedding Day
Today is such a special day
You'll shortly be a wife,
You'll leave your home and family
For a new and joyous life.
Remember things won't always go
The way you want them to.
But trust the Lord and take his hand
And he will lead you through.
